Clinical Assistant

Are you looking for a more meaningful job? Are you searching for a way to make a difference in peoples’ lives? Do you want to work where you are valued and appreciated?

Then consider coming on as our Clinical Assistant.  We all work together as a team to provide the best care for our patients, and for each other.

Each one of our customers is precious and we actively manage their care through three stages of the treatment process on their way to healing. You will be able to apply your skills to help our patients ultimately become independent (of us) and healthy.

Your duties as Clinical Assistant would include:

Moxibustion- The assistant will learn and perform a traditional form of heat therapy known as moxibustion.

Patient Care- The assistant listens to the patient and empathizes with them, and is responsible for maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for them. This includes prepping the treatment rooms, cleaning the rooms after each patient, and keeping the rooms at a comfortable temperature.  They also ensure that the restrooms and patient rooms are well stocked.

Interoffice Communication- The assistant needs effective communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to maintain composure and communicate clearly to the practitioner and other staff members will affect the clinical outcomes of the patients.

Herbal Dispensing- The assistant will learn to properly dispense herbs and provide patients with any necessary instructions.

Light Administrative work: The assistant will be responsible for filing, organizing their area, and scheduling treatment room rotations.
